J-Spec Style Front-End Upgrade

Important Fitment Note

Because this is a J-Spec style aftermarket bumper, extra fitting work is commonly required. For proper installation, you may need to:

• Trim the factory reinforcement bar

• Remove the factory reinforcement bar

• Perform additional fitting/bodywork depending on your setup

VIS specifically notes that significant modifications are often needed for proper fitment, including trimming the bumper, removing the reinforcement bar, or even adding fiberglass to reshape the part.

Professional Installation Strongly Recommended

This is an aftermarket body kit component, not an OEM Mitsubishi replacement. For best results:

• Professional custom body shop installation is strongly recommended

• Always test fit before paint

• Expect standard prep work such as sanding, trimming, filling, priming, and paint prep

• Actual final fit can vary depending on vehicle condition, prior repairs, and existing modifications

VIS also notes that aftermarket body kit parts come unfinished and may need additional prep and correction before paint for a smooth final finish.
